The Birth of The Reunion

What started as a friendly challenge from my 14-year-old son in 2018 has grown into one of the UK’s most anticipated automotive events—The Reunion Show. With a competitive spark and a deep love for the modified car scene of the 1990s, I launched an Instagram page to showcase the golden era of retro builds. That spark ignited a movement.

Within 18 months, the page had cultivated a loyal following, and the next step was clear: bring these iconic machines out of garages and gardens and back into the spotlight. In September 2021, the first Reunion Show was born—an event that quickly outgrew its initial venue at Towcester Racecourse, moving to the British Motor Museum in 2022 before finding its true home in the vast grounds of Staffordshire County Showground.

Since then, The Reunion Show has become a cornerstone of the UK car show calendar, celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere, nostalgic energy, and community spirit. July 2025 marked its biggest year yet, with over 1,500 cars on display and 7,000 passionate attendees filling the grounds.

Driven by gratitude and fuelled by the support of car owners, fans, sponsors, and traders, I continue to grow The Reunion Show with heart, hustle, and a commitment to honouring the culture that started it all. From forgotten gems to fresh builds, the show is more than an event—it’s a movement.

The Reunion Show remains a personal love and passion of mine which is demanding of my time and energy but the feedback and love makes it all worthwhile and I continue to do all the show prep, admin and communication single handily but with a fantastic family of helpers on show weekend.
